What is querying?
I really don’t like that word; it creates awkward musculature in my mouth. But anyway, at it’s heart, querying is a way to pitch or sell agents on your nonfiction idea or your completed fiction manuscript.

The project I’m querying right now is a literary speculative fiction novel called This Phone Can Call the Wind. It tells the story of a man trying to ask his dead son if he caused the end of the world on purpose.
