Earlier, I shared a process for analyzing the stories we write which I call the Stor-enstein. I have performed a stor-enstein on a short story I created for a writing class, a story called “Firebird,” and here, I want to share some of my reflections.
About the Story
Three kids, Kiki, Tito and Roz, rob a bar. In fleeing, Kiki drives their getaway car at a cop, who fires at them, striking Roz in the backseat. As Roz slowly dies at their hideout, Tito and Kiki have to decide what the hell to do with her.
